Join X’s People Team and provide daily HR support to our growing Teams in Japan and APAC. As a part of the HRBP team, you will implement key HR initiatives and programs in support of the business goals. Specifically, you will:

Role:

  • Coach and advise managers and employees on a variety of components impacting employee experience: employee relations concerns, performance management, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, local labor laws, and HR policies

  • Ensure operational excellence to broad based initiatives including talent reviews, workforce planning, talent analytics, and overall process improvements to create a positive employee experience

  • Help the HRBP team create and execute initiatives to drive exceptional individual and team performance

  • Employ operational discipline partnering with the People Ops, People Systems and Compensation Teams to ensure accuracy in organizational hierarchy, pay, titling, and leveling

  • Support leadership to build a cohesive, positive work environment and culture

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an HR generalist/HRBP with exposure/experience across other fields w/in HR or related discipline

  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and experience in managing performance

  • Strong employee relations expertise

  • Strong coaching and advisory skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired; experience working with hourly employees highly desired

  • Proven track record in the areas of program delivery

  • Strong problem-solving, critical/analytical thinking abilities

  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at multiple levels within the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with team members on local and global issues

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and organizational consulting skills

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Speak and write fluent Japanese and English
