About the job

As a Security Operations Engineer at Sky Mavis, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the security and integrity of our decentralized applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in security operations, proficiency in Python, and a strong background in security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR). Familiarity with Kafka and a passion for blockchain technology are definite advantages.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate security processes, contributing to the efficiency of our operations.
• Incident Response: Hands-on experience with intrusion analysis, email analysis, malware analysis, incident response, or security engineering.
• SOAR Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain security orchestration, automation, and response workflows to enhance our incident response capabilities.
• Log Management: Utilize Kafka and other tools to manage and analyze security logs, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and other teams to integrate security into every aspect of our technology stack.
• Cloud Monitoring: Implement and manage cloud monitoring.
