Role Overview:
This role collaborates closely with regional and theater (APJC) leaders to drive initiatives with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) that grow their Splunk business in Japan. It also supports the implementation of the partner program by understanding program details and enabling partners.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop & Execute CSP Partnership Strategy
  • Set the overall CSP partnership strategy for Japan.
  • Own annual planning, including joint investments and execution plans with CSP partners.
2. Relationship Management
  • Manage and build strong relationships with key CSP stakeholders to drive Splunk CSP business growth.
  • Focus on key CSPs such as AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and CSP-related partners.
  • Expand and promote the Channel Partner Private Offer (CPPO) program equivalent to AWS with CSP and Splunk resale partners.
3. Strategy Execution & Scaling
  • Own the CSP strategy and execution for Japan, focusing on scaling CSP partnerships effectively.
4. Sales Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead Japan sales teams in collaboration and promotion activities with CSP partners to maximize joint business opportunities.
5. Partner Program Enablement
  • Support partner program implementation by understanding program details and enabling CSP partners for successful adoption.
  • Drive market and opportunity growth and increase sales within the CPPO.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  • Extensive experience in building and managing partnerships with major Cloud Service Providers in Japan.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute joint business plans and co-investment strategies with CSPs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with CSP stakeholders and internal sales teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration to drive CSP-related sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in business enablement for reseller partners.
  • Deep understanding of partner program operations and enablement best practices.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Japanese to engage effectively with regional and local teams.
