Meet the Team

The APJC Partner Technical team at Splunk plays a critical role in accelerating partner-led growth across the region. We work closely with a diverse ecosystem of partners across ANZ—ranging from global system integrators to specialist consultancies—helping them build deep technical capability, scalable practices, and differentiated go-to-market offerings on the Splunk platform.

Your Impact

As a Partner Sales Engineer (PSE), you will be a key technical leader and trusted advisor within the ANZ partner ecosystem. You will help partners successfully position, sell, and deliver Splunk solutions by providing technical enablement, pre-sales support, and strategic guidance aligned to their go-to-market objectives.

Working closely with Splunk sales teams and partner stakeholders, you will drive partner productivity and scalability by owning the technical evaluation stage of partner-led opportunities and advocating for Splunk’s value to both technical and business audiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage effectively with partners to define and execute technical engagement strategies aligned to their Splunk-based go-to-market objectives

  • Design and deliver technical enablement plans, including workshops, hands-on sessions, and webinars, to build partner capability and confidence

  • Demonstrate the value proposition of Splunk’s products and platform capabilities through live demos, remote presentations, and field events such as conferences and trade shows

  • Act as the primary technical advisor to partners, responding to technical inquiries related to Splunk products, features, solutions, and use cases

  • Support partner-led sales opportunities by managing technical evaluations, proofs of value, and customer-facing engagements alongside the Splunk sales team

  • Contribute to RFIs and RFPs by addressing functional and technical requirements

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with partner technical and sales stakeholders

  • Travel as required to support partners, prospects, and customers across ANZ

  • Apply analytical and creative problem-solving skills to remove technical sales obstacles and accelerate deal progression

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a Partner or Channel Sales Engineer role within a software or technology company in ANZ

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise technology solutions in IT, Security, DevOps/Observability, or Cisco-related technologies

  • Proven experience delivering technical sales enablement sessions, workshops, or webinars to partners or customers

  • Demonstrated ability to support pre-sales technical activities, including demos, evaluations, and RFI/RFP responses

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex platforms and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or enabling partner ecosystems across multiple industries and business sizes

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business decision-makers

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with confidence presenting to both technical and executive audiences

  • Project or program development experience within a partner or sales engineering context

  • Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and growth-oriented attitude, with comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
