Your Impact
As a Software Engineer, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle for large-scale wireless and IoT systems. You will design, develop and maintain wireless products and industry-leading software platforms with an aim toward all devices, machines, and vehicles becoming connected and integrated with traditional enterprise networks. You will have the opportunity to build high performance, highly scalable, multi-cloud environments and distributed systems, end to end, and participate in the full software development lifecycle for large systems at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies like artificial intelligence into our software development processes and networking products. This role offers the chance to grow your technical expertise while making a tangible impact on the future of global connectivity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Recent graduate or early career engineer with a BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Ability to write software in C or C++.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and protocols.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills as applied to software development.
- Ability to learn and effectively apply new technologies and software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with wireless networking protocols such as 802.11, BLE, or Zigbee.
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging software during development, testing and in production deployments.
- Knowledge of or experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in application to networking and software engineering.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA) or experience with Cisco networking products.
