Meet the Team
You’ll be joining Cisco Security Marketing, one of the fastest-moving teams in the company. This role reports into the Director, Product Marketing for SASE/SSE and sits within the Lighthouse 360 team —a highly collaborative and high-performing team dedicated to delivering world-class product marketing and demand generation. We partner across the business with sellers, partners, product owners, agencies and campaign leads to build and deliver successful campaigns that drive awareness (ToFU) and generate pipeline (MoFU and BoFU) for Cisco Security products.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the end-to-end strategic planning and execution of content needed for deep ABM campaigns - In person, virtual and digital.
  • Independently develop and manage multiple content and journey development projects, ensuring alignment with product strategy and business needs.
  • Develop content with Persona and Industry Focus:
  • Map customer journeys and create persona-based (CIO, CISO, IT, Business Leaders etc.) content that addresses pain points, use cases and value propositions; Ensure content relevance by vertical, sales lifecycle motion and region. Translate complex technical product information into simple, engaging narratives.
  • AI Driven Content Efficiency and Scale:
  • Use generative AI tools effectively to scale content creation to drive multiple cohorts as well as cross architecture narratives with ability to pivot quickly based on customer and market feedback.
  • Partner closely with sales, product teams, channel, and cross-functional stakeholders to produce high-quality, relevant assets and programs that resonate with target personas and seller motions.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize campaign and content performance data; conduct postmortem reviews to extract actionable insights that inform continuous improvement of content effectiveness and journey progression.
  • Ensure accurate internal documentation, campaign trackers, and team collaboration spaces to enable transparency, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency in content creation and journey management.


Your Impact
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the content strategy for our Secure Access and SASE marketing programs—driving initiatives that generate pipeline, boost awareness, and ensure tight alignment with sales. You will architect content approaches for different campaigns, develop high quality assets, and anticipate market needs to produce compelling narratives at scale. Your leadership will keep messaging targeted and accelerate engagement across priority customer segments and empower our team to scale with agility and focus. Through your combined strategic insight and operational excellence, you will maximize impact and deliver results that matter.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred, with emphasis on product marketing, market research, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, content development, program management roles, demonstrating ownership of content creation, customer journey development, and high-impact product launches.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience in a B2B space a must (Experience in Security a bonus).
  • Experience working alongside sales and channels to build cross sell/up sell programs in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Proven experience developing content for ABM and multi-channel campaigns.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to translate product features into compelling marketing programs tailored to specific use cases and customer segments.
  • Experience using AI and automation tools for content development and optimization.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product management, sales, channels, agencies, and creative teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize content and journey strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing, cybersecurity, and demand generation.
  • Proficiency with tools like Workfront, Salesforce, Eloqua, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $136,000.00 to $171,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:

  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees

  • 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco

  • Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees

  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)

  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next

  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

  • .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

  • 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

  • 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and

  • Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below:

New York City Metro Area:

$136,000.00 - $197,100.00

Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:

$121,000.00 - $175,400.00

* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
