Specifically, this team shapes and drives Cisco’s enterprise-wide data and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with ethical, regulatory, and business objectives and driving innovation while mitigating risk. Cisco’s AI & Automation Center bridges vision and execution, preventing fragmented efforts, eliminating redundancies, and increases adoption and trust in AI across the enterprise. Your Impact

As a Senior Director of Engineering Product Management in the AI & Automation Center, you will be pivotal in driving innovation, re-engineering business processes, and enhancing productivity through the strategic application of AI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong product management background, a passion for technology, a proven ability to translate complex concepts into actionable product strategies, as well as demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Innovation and Prototyping: Find opportunities for innovation and lead the creation of prototypes and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate new ideas and technologies.

• Business Process Re-engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and re-engineer business processes, employing AI and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

• Reusable AI Assets: Drive the development and adoption of reusable AI assets, including models, APIs, and frameworks, to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market.

• Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for automation and AI driven solutions, aligning with overall business objectives.

• Best Practices and Knowledge Sharing: Establish and share best practices, guidelines, and standards for AI development and deployment across the organization.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering, data science, product, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and communicate progress.

• Leadership: Lead and influence cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, design, sales, marketing, legal) to drive alignment, overcome obstacles, and deliver high-impact features, as well as act as a senior representative of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors +15 years of related experience or Master's +6 years of related experience degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI, machine learning, or automation technologies.

• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and technologies.

• Ability to think strategically and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business requirements.

• Experience managing multiple issues and initiatives simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead cross-functional teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders and articulate sophisticated issues clearly

• Excellent judgment and sense of prioritization, along with attention to detail
