Your Impact We have an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team in Finance IT. Develop your technical skills as you deliver new capabilities using new tools, technologies, and processes. You work in a collaborative environment that enables you to develop your leadership skills as you work with a team of committed engineers and interact with business partners towards addressing their unique and exciting requirements. You will work with a team of analysts & engineers responsible for the architecture, solution and gap analysis, software design, development testing and deployment of AI-enabled financial applications. You will be accountable to lead your area of work, be hands-on, deep dive into any part of the application and be comfortable to work in a sprint based, agile environment. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, adapt to changes and be productive in an environment that includes incremental improvements. Minimum Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in developing complex high-volume applications across Dev, Stage and Production environments. * 2+ years of hands-on experience and exposure in scoping, building, and supporting multiple tools and technologies of any area the following list: - Applied AI/ML initiatives. - Understanding of Finance functions such as GL, AP, AR, FP&A, and Revenue operations. - Experience with tools and platforms such as Python, Azure ML, and cloud-based data services. - Familiarity with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), NLP, predictive modeling, and generative AI in enterprise environments. - Working with cross-functional teams (data engineers, product managers) - Machine Learning Fundamentals, such as: supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. - Experience working with cross-functional teams (data engineers, product managers) Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Generative AI tools like: GANs, diffusion models, LLM fine-tuning * Experienced in Agile development methodologies and DevOps * Outstanding communication and collaboration skills * Understanding of software development lifecycles and tools, including design and operations At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era - and beyond.
