Meet the Team

You will join the Supply Chain Operations Organization as part of the Product Operations team, supporting the development of computing and storage server products. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated engineer to provide electrical product engineering expertise for both new and sustaining products. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a diverse group of teams—including Computing & Storage Server Product Operations, Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Contract Manufacturing partners, GSM, and central product operations—to solve challenges, drive innovation, and ensure products are delivered with the highest quality. Our team thrives on open communication, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence, making this an exciting environment for those who want to make a tangible impact.

Your Impact

In this role, you will drive product cost and quality from New Product Introduction (NPI) through End of Life (EOL). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners—including hardware and mechanical design, process, test, and reliability engineering—to identify issues early, ensure cost avoidance, and deliver high-quality products at First Customer Shipment (FCS). For sustaining products, you will focus on cost reduction opportunities and design-related yield improvements to continuously elevate performance.

Your strong communication skills, proven ability to build relationships, and talent for influencing peers and leadership enable you to make a meaningful impact across teams. Coupled with your sense of ownership and integrity, you are well-positioned to excel in this role. You will also play a key part in driving new initiatives beyond core responsibilities, helping the broader EPE team work more efficiently and effectively.

  • Lead new product and sustaining engineering efforts, driving high-quality, manufacturable products through debugging, design experiments, and board bring-up.
  • Shape design and cost decisions by collaborating with Component Engineering, GSM, and Hardware teams, ensuring optimal component selection, process efficiency, and cost avoidance.
  • Enable ODMs and supply chain partners by addressing technical capability gaps, managing BOMs, and applying design-for-manufacturing best practices.
  • Drive product lifecycle improvements, including defect reduction, component qualification, and FMEA reviews, to enhance reliability and reduce sustaining costs.
  • Own resolution of complex technical challenges, providing cross-functional leadership that accelerates innovation, strengthens processes, and delivers impactful results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in system hardware design, development practices, and tools such as Allegro, Valor, and CAD/CAE software.
  • Hands-on experience testing, debugging, and bringing up prototype boards, including system- and board-level diagnostics using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and TDR.
  • Knowledge of the full product development lifecycle and experience working with ODM contract manufacturers.
  • Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes, including design-for-manufacturing and quality considerations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in computing/storage server industry, HW design, AGILE PDM, and project management are a plus.
