Join Cisco's Enterprise Networking & Security team as a Solutions Engineer - SD-WAN & SASE! Play a critical role in driving customer success through innovative, secure, and scalable networking architectures. You will partner closely with Account Managers, Sales Specialists, and cross-architecture technical teams across Enterprise Networking, Security, and Cloud to deliver differentiated Cisco SD-WAN and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions. Engage directly with customers and partners to design, position, and demonstrate Cisco's end-to-end SD-WAN and SASE portfolio, while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive culture that values innovation and continuous learning.

Your Impact

As a Solutions Engineer - SD-WAN & SASE, serve as a trusted technical advisor, supporting sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle. Provide technical guidance, solution design, and customer engagement expertise across Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Meraki SD-WAN, and Cisco Secure Access technologies.

Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business drivers and technical challenges such as hybrid work, multicloud connectivity, application performance, and security modernization. Design tailored Cisco SD-WAN and SASE architectures that integrate networking and security into scalable solutions aligned with customer outcomes.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that clearly articulate Cisco's SASE value proposition, including integrated security, AI driven analytics, operational simplicity, and resilient multicloud connectivity. Develop high-quality technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and responses to RFPs, ensuring Cisco solutions are well understood, differentiated, and aligned with customer requirements and competitive positioning.

Collaboration is core to this role!

Work closely with sales teams, partners, and Cisco technical specialists to stay ahead of on product capabilities, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Contribute to share knowledge and experiences within the team, mentor junior engineers, and help elevate overall technical excellence across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong customer-first approach with a consistent focus on customer success and satisfaction

  • 5+ years of experience in networking, security, or SaaS sales engineering roles, including 4+ years in a pre-sales or Systems Engineer capacity, with solid understanding of routing and enterprise networking.

  • Experience with Cisco SD-WAN technologies (Catalyst SD-WAN and/or Meraki SD-WAN)

  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business partners

  • Shown experience working multi-functionally with sales, partners, and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field

  • Experience with Cisco Secure Access, SSE, or broader SASE architectures

  • Strong understanding of hybrid work, cloud connectivity, and security transformation use cases

  • Passion for continuous learning and knowing the latest with evolving networking and security technologies

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills

  • Highly organized and effective in handling multiple opportunities simultaneously

  • Team-oriented approach with a willingness to mentor others and share knowledge
