As a member of the Cisco IT team, you will be a valuable part of the Product Quality and Compliance team within our Supply Chain organization. Your impact
As a Business Analyst, you will:
Business Analysis & Technology Integration:
· Analyze complex business processes within the supply chain, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation through the application of various technology solutions.
· Gather, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements and user stories for next-generation capabilities and system enhancements.
· Define functional and non-functional requirements for technology features, ensuring they align with business needs and strategic goals.
· Work closely with engineering teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for technology solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural transformation and modernization efforts.
· Assist in defining data requirements, data governance, and integration strategies for various databases (e.g., Oracle, SAP HANA, Snowflake, MongoDB) to support reporting functionalities (e.g., Power BI and Tableau) and system functionalities.
· Contribute to the analysis of user input and intent for various system interactions.
Documentation & Communication:
· Collect and maintain comprehensive dashboards of business operational metrics, providing insights into performance and identifying areas for improvement.
· Document findings, corrective action plans, and business requirements in an efficiently traceable framework (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
· Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure shared understanding and successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Management & Project Support:
· Manage stakeholder expectations, drive actions to completion, and ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables.
· Actively participate in a Scrum Agile environment, ensuring assigned tasks are executed timely and updated, and contributing to backlog planning.
Continuous Improvement:
· Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business analysis methodologies.
· Proactively identify and recommend process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across supply chain operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Around 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within a technology or supply chain environment.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Familiarity with emerging technologies and a keen interest in how they can be applied to solve business problems and enhance productivity.
· Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Awareness of security practices and data governance principles, especially in the context of data integration.
· Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and experience working in an Agile environment.
· Familiarity with various project management principles.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate discussions in a global multicultural working environment.
· Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive actions to completion.
· Positive, self-motivated attitude, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
· A good team player, able to serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Preferred Requirements:
· Awareness of supply chain business processes and operations.
· Certifications in Supply Chain Fundamentals.
· Exposure to concepts in Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Generative AI (e.g., White/Green belt).
· Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Fundamentals) and database concepts (e.g., Oracle, SAP HANA, Snowflake, MongoDB)
