What You’ll Do

Our team develops system-level test requirements across both NPI (New Product Introduction) and high-volume production. We design and deliver custom test solutions spanning high-power devices, large dies, networking silicon, and cost-sensitive products.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with PDE and OSAT teams to transfer SLT test programs from Cisco’s development environment into OSAT production.

  • Act as the first responder for production issues—both hardware- and software-related—ensuring prompt analysis and resolution.

  • Drive OSAT performance to meet throughput, yield, cycle time, and equipment uptime metrics.

  • Ensure that OSAT capacity ramps align with the Cisco product roadmap and support a stable and scalable production test environment.

  • Collaborate with Product Test, Automation, and Data Solutions teams to conduct statistical analysis, yield correlation, and large-scale data analytics to optimize test coverage and yield.

Who You’ll Work With

You will work closely with:

  • Silicon Design teams

  • Supply Chain & Manufacturing Operations partners

  • Cross-functional engineering teams supporting Cisco Silicon One Productization

Together, we influence and drive Cisco’s silicon manufacturing and productization strategy.

Who You Are / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 3+ years of experience testing hardware systems based on custom ASICs or SoC products

  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Python programming (must have)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in EE, CE, CS, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware or semiconductor testing

  • Experience implementing secure ASIC/SoC manufacturing solutions (e.g., SerDes, provisioning, programming flows, product lifecycle management)

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals

  • Experience with C/C++, SQL, or Perl

  • Understanding of ASIC/SoC boot flows or CPU performance testing

  • Experience working with OSATs and managing production operations
