Your Impact
Be responsible for federal customers in social welfare in Germany with a focus on datacenter (of which Cisco has a leading end-to-end portfolio which is what you will primarily sell)
Translate customers' needs into potential solutions using Cisco products and services
Plan an engagement and get the buy-in of all other internal and external stakeholders needed for the engagement
Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities - including forecasting - against a quota
Develop customer relationships and gain understanding of their vision, strategy and needs around digitization and system architectures and possible related solutions.
Identify potential opportunities in AI-, in datacenter environment-Networking Compute and management,
Focus on an outstanding customer experience and become your customers' trusted advisor.
Understand customer's business drivers, regulatory environment, code of business conduct, external influencers and current market development and trends in Public Sector.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in sales account management and in selling datacenter solutions in German Public Sector Market
Experiences with RFP's in Public Sector and frame agreements (with knowledge of special public regulations preferred)
Strong Selling skills as well as sound knowledge in complex IT solutions and able to understand, articulate and position the value of a technology-based solution to the customer.
You are a strong team player who takes responsibility for yourself and for your teammates.
Write and speak English and German fluently (C1 Level).
Preferred Qualifications
Direct Account management experience and a proven track record in a dynamic IT, Software, Services and Solution business
Ability to develop trusted customer relationships up to C level combined with ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers
Ability to use and engage internal resources such as Marketing, Technology Experts, Services and others
Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding sales targets once selling Cisco architectures into accounts or within a territory
Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall
Confidence in applying business and financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities.
Ability to match customer needs with state-of-the-art technology solutions and partners to deliver them
Experience in software sales and use of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
