The ideal candidate should be able to handle Public calls for tender, shall create, develop and influence customer and partner eco-systems in complex political environments and understand multidimensional buying centers. The overall goal is to identify, plan and execute business engagements with customers within Public Operation to support their digitalization efforts from strategy to execution and lead the engagement into a sales opportunity for Cisco.
What You'll Do:
Your mission will be to sell Cisco Solutions in the Public market, develop the accounts and relationships at the highest levels to address Cisco solutions in this domain and drive Business Outcome. You will own and nurture the relationships and build and execute the sales strategy. Your success will reflect in sales achievements, long-term customer relationships and customer satisfaction. Hitting personal targets and contributing to overall profitability, success, and positive image of Cisco in the marketplace.
In this job, you will,
Manages opportunities over multiple accounts or a single large and complex account
Understands customer’s business and primarily sells outcomes from across Cisco’s portfolio
Leverages specialists across architectures and BE to influence future investments
Demonstrates ability to manage and maximize a consulting engagement to grow a sales opportunity with all levels of complexity
Understands flexible consumption models and more advanced financial concepts within the customer
Effectively negotiates pricing strategies and proactively focuses on maintaining expected margin levels
Translate customers' needs into potential solutions using Cisco products and services
Plan an engagement and get the buy-in of all other needed internal and external stakeholders for the engagement
Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities - including forecasting - against a quota
Initiate and Develop customer relationships – especially on top (CxO-)
Understand customer's business drivers, regulatory environment and current market development and trends in Public Sector

Who you are:
Intensive sales experience required of 5 or more years
Ability to create a big (strategic) picture and to transfer this into concrete Cisco opportunities
Experiences with large RFP's in Public Sector and Frame Agreements.
Knowledge of special public regulations is preferred
Solid understanding in how to interact with Cisco Service Delivery and Sales
You are a strong team player who takes responsibility for yourself and for your teammates
Strong communication and presentation skills
You are able to transform Cisco’s technology and designs to CxO relevant content messaging.
Understand customer's business drivers, regulatory environment, code of business conduct, external influencers and current market development.
Solid understanding and experience in management of all aspects of sales support processes
Solid knowledge in developing, managing and forecasting a pipeline of opportunities using SFDC
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English
Desired Skills:
University degree, preferably in engineering, computer science, natural sciences or economics
Demonstrated experience with solution selling
Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication
Existing Customer relationship in Public Operation is a huge advantage
Key Account Management capabilities are required
Willingness to travel is required
Ability and fun on hunting activities is required
