Your Impact
As a Solution Engineer for the Service Provider segment, you will be at the forefront of Cisco's engagement with our most strategic customers. You will drive thought leadership, translating complex technical capabilities into tangible business outcomes. Your expertise will directly influence the adoption of Cisco solutions that enhance operational efficiency, optimize asset utilization, and secure the next generation of network infrastructure for service providers worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Understand, present, and tailor Cisco’s comprehensive portfolio (SP Routing, Optical, Data Center & Cloud) to address the specific needs and business drivers of Service Provider customers.
- Build strong relationships with technical and business decision-makers, collaborating with sales teams, partners, and customers to identify requirements, design, implement, and operate solutions.
- Provide deep technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including leading product demonstrations, solution design, addressing technical questions, and conducting customer Test Labs/POCs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through technology selection, demonstrating the impact of Cisco solutions on business transformation, and influencing strategic plans.
- Stay informed about industry drivers, business needs, and competitive landscapes to effectively position Cisco's value and contribute to demand generation.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in Cisco's SP portfolio, keep networking skills and certifications current, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing within SE virtual teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience working directly within the Service Provider / Telco Industry.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in Service Provider Routing (SPR), Optical Networking, Data Center & Cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role, providing solution design and technical guidance.
- Strong understanding of the business drivers and operational challenges specific to Service Providers.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCIE, DevNet) or other relevant industry certifications.
- Experience as a pre-sales engineer in the Telco sector.
- Familiarity with AI and Security solutions within a Service Provider context.
- Experience as a public speaker at industry events (e.g., Cisco Live, Telecom Events, ITU – IETF, MPLF Forum, etc.).
- Prior experience collaborating with Cisco SP Partners or working with other telco vendor of similar technologies
