Business Development Manager is a key player in :

  • Driving a company's growth by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Lead the conversion from lead to active customer attaining sales goals.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to pursue them.
  • Fostering relationships with potential clients or partners.

How

Be an Owner

  • Business closing: Leads conversion to new customers and proper handover to customer success for nurturing purposes. Being connected by Customer Success to new opportunities within existing clients for selling process.
  • Market Analysis: Conducting market research to identify potential new markets and customer needs. Analyzing trends and competitor activities to uncover opportunities for growth.
  • Lead Prospection: Prospecting leads through various channels such as networking, industry events, SDR team and referrals.
  • Project Management: Overseeing the execution of business development initiatives, monitoring progress against goals and making adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Tracking and analyzing key business development metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives. Presenting findings to senior management and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in business development. Continuously seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Be a Solver

  • Strategy Development: Collaborating with senior management to develop strategic plans for business growth.
  • Partnership Development: Identifying potential strategic partnerships or alliances that can drive mutual growth. Negotiating partnership agreements and managing ongoing relationships with partners.
  • Sales Materials Support: Collaborating with the team to develop proposals, presentations, and other materials to support sales efforts. Providing sales training and support to SDR and Customer Success roles.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and finance to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving growth targets.

Required Skills

  • 4-5 + years of experience working in sales and business development fintech or tech
  • Bachelors, Masters University Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong experience in fintech/Tech industry in sales and customer growth roles.
  • Passionate about driving growth and are able to identify and capitalize on opportunities in a dynamic business environment.
  • Get stuff done attitude and make your voice heard when necessary.
